FURTHER LEFT SYSTEM MENU
The intent of the Further Left System is to encourage international support for oppressed people seeking relief as they see fit. Scroll down for descriptions and links to its several parts. These include: Chat, Audio Playlist, Group Members, How To Help, Library, Forum, Video Index, Forum Posting Guide, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Privacy, and Contacting.
The Further Left Chat room was initiated on Yahoo in August 2003. It remained there until removed by that system in June 2005. The room then continued on the IRC network until migrating to Paltalk in April 2007. The linked page fully explains its manners of access and operation.
The chat room incorporated background audio in November 2007. Its playlist contains 1000 music and spoken selections submitted by users from many nations. Our Audio Page lists them and explains how anyone can choose which play in the chat room as well as contribute to the list.
The chat room is considered private for members of the Further Left Group. There is no general Paltalk right of use. Visitors to the room who act as such and may advance its purpose are welcome. Others are not. Group members are listed here with links to their Paltalk profiles.
We look for those who will assume a sense of ownership in the Further Left Chat Room and act to help others feel the same. One can take from it or give to it. Continued value of taking depends on amount and quality of giving by those so motivated. This tells how to so contribute as well as join the Further Left Group.
A chat room supporting Further Left Library was created in March 2004. It holds more than 60 files for reading or downloading.
In October 2005, we added the Further Left Forum. Anyone may add comments to articles contributed by Forum Team members. The Forum contains links to other facets of the Further Left System.
There is a search-able and linked index to videos that have appeared on the Further Left Forum. Each entry gives viewing time and internet links to both Forum post and embedding source. The index is fully text search-able. Several hundred videos are listed. As all correspond to social-political perspectives of the Forum team, the index could be used as a video source library for others of similar interest.
A guide explains and offers help with Forum posting approach, style, and standards.
Facebook is a good source of information from others of similar outlook. A Facebook page named "Further Left" with links to our system was created in September 2010. Neither activity nor Facebook 'friends' are shown. However, they are appreciated for pointing others toward us on their pages.
Twitter, like Facebook, is a good source of information from others of like interest. Its particular advantage lies in gathering up to the minute information about changing events. A Twitter account named "furtherleft" was created in October 2011.
A Further Left YouTube account was opened in September 2008 and temporarily holds videos of topical interest that may be viewed by anyone.
We may gather information about users to aid implementation. Almost all internet services and web sites do. Some admit and describe their practice. Most do not. We do. This page details what we collect, how we collect it, and the use we make of it.
