HELP WANTED

We are looking for people who will assume a sense of ownership in the Further Left chat room and act to help others feel the same. One can take from it or give to it. However, continued value of taking will depend on amount and quality of giving by those so motivated.

HOW TO SUPPORT THE ROOM

Frequent participation is a way to give. Understanding our ROOM INFORMATION page, and posting in accord with its provisions helps emphasize them. We are benefitted by users who greet entrants, sincerely question to draw out new ones, and encourage return of those desirable. It even adds to do no more than park a name when not active. Each of those advance the room and lend credence to belonging.

HOW TO JOIN OUR GROUP

The room can be further supported by joining our Further Left Group to share in room management. Complete the following to join the group:

  1. Develop a room reputation for regularly demonstrating the above suggestions.

  2. Have a Paltalk profile.

  3. Then, email from your primary address the single nickname to be used. Inquire in the room for its address. Yours will remain confidential and be used only for group information.

  4. Finally, go to the room's Group Page and click "Join This Group".

HOW TO BE A ROOM ADMIN

The ultimate way to exercise ownership is by accepting moderator responsibility. That can be likened to work that requires patience, is not always fun, can be boring, often is frustrating, and sometimes angers. It is also rewarding in knowing you are giving of yourself to further what the room claims to be about.

Consider the following criteria in deciding if you might act as a moderator. They sum to putting the room's functioning first and personal needs second so others may benefit from a well run chat environment that enhances its purpose.

We may request moderator help from group members after considerable chat room activity shows they meet these conditions.
